We love the restaurant, recently moved back to Sunderland and found you by accident when wondering around walking. We have been to you three times now - and we loved it so much the food, wine and service is fantastic we had our daughter's Hen Party with you. We were treated excellent even though the noise levels rose as the wine flowed. Highly recommended.

I'm coming tonight to celebrate my brother's 30th birthday with my family. However, I've visited Cafe Spice quite a few times before as I only live around the corner at The Esplanade.

I always enjoy the food and service is very friendly!

I used to live across the road from the restaurant and every time i walked home i could smell the food! It was gorgeous so one night me and my housemate decided to venture across the road and buy a take away-my favourite dish-Chicken Kurma!

Definitely well worth the money!!

We have been to Cafe Spice many times over the years and every time we've had a wonderful meal. One of the best Indian restaurants we've ever been to and certainly the best in Sunderland.

Excellent menu. Great chefs and team.

We are regular lunch time diners and have always enjoyed our dining experience. The staff are polite and friendly but also professional, and the food is always beautifully cooked and tastes delicious.

My husband has just been recently diagnosed with coeliac disease (which means now unable to eat food containing wheat and gluten) so hopefully we can continue to enjoy Indian cooking with alittle advice from your chef.

The food was great. The chicken paneer starter was delicious. We enjoyed choices from the speciality menu and they were lovely. I was given a Rose for valentines day which made the night special. Excellent service.

One of the most exsquisit, fine dining restaurants we have been to in a very long time. The taste and quantity of the meals complimented eachother so well. Freinds had recommended this restaurant to us for our celebrations and i'm pleased that we took their advice. Your staff were very friendly and courteous, ensuring we had enjoyed our courses but also maintaining a level of professionalism. Fantasitc all round and will most certinally booking to enjoy another meal with yourselves.

From attending the opening night through to today I have enjoyed many many meals at this wonderful restaurant. Mr Islam and his staff always provide a very warm welcome and their exceptional service is only bettered by the quality food. Book dinner here and you will not be disappointed.
